Waiting for My Chance to Shine

Yesterday- callback for a Prius commercial.  Actors always whip out their finest threads for auditions, and this waiting room was no exception.  Looking around I found myself checking out some pretty bomb footwear.  Perfect opportunity to break up the tension a little bit by asking to snap some shots of unsuspecting peds!  Here's what I got.

Eileen found her darling heels at Hidden Treasures, a thrift store in Topanga (nice!) while Sarah snagged these Sebagos from Nordstrom.

My buddy Michael received these bad-boys as a Valentine's day gift from his mom.  Nice taste, Mama!  She used to dress he and his twin sister up in matching Lacoste outfits as children...now she buys him sick kicks for V-Day.  Adopt me?

So excited to run into Angela, a friend of mine, at the audition.  This girl is a prime example of someone with a "no-fear fashion" sense...every time I see her she's in some edgy ensemble that expresses her individuality and makes her look like a rockstar.  I hope to feature her here a lot in the future!  These rainboots were complements of the Fashion District in Downtown.  And yes- it was raining yesterday.

These were maybe my favorite find of the afternoon- Ann Lane was rockin' these combat boots that she picked up in Minneapolis.  Who would have thought the midwest had such fashion-tastic footwear?

these bad boys I snapped secretly- but they were being rocked by a cute Aussie blonde, who I'm hoping found them down-under...makes them seem even cooler, somehow.  Right?

As we move into summer I'll be interested to see how many southern-californians will forego their trendy boots and switch to Rainbows and Havaianas...

That's all for me-
